Hybrid Ads: Links in AdSense Ad Units

Hybrid Ads: Links in AdSense Ad Units

Google is continuously trying different ways to improve the earnings of their AdSense ad units. One of the things they’ve been doing recently is embedding link units right into regular ad units, efficiently integrate the two into a hybrid kind of ad unit. Here’s what it looks like, a screenshot taken from this very blog over the weekend:

You won’t see these too often. Google does split testing on these kinds of changes to see if they work or not. Sad to say, there is no way for you to opt out of these tests, which means that any AdSense publisher can become a guinea pig for Google’s experimentation. Other publishers have reported being strained to display CPA (cost per action) ads, for example.

In any case, if you doubt why your ads look different sometimes, that’s why… if these hybrid ads prove to be successful, expect them to be rolled out across the network. They might be made optional in that case. (And they really only work with the banner ads — they need lots of horizontal space.)

Think outside the ad unit

Think outside the ad unit

My respective readers,

Have you try to use link ads unit? I am asking this question because today i will reveal a secret on how to use link ads unit in a better ways so that it will improve your adsense earning everyday.

Each link unit displays a list of topics relevant to the content of your site, and when users click on one of these topics, they're brought to a page of AdWords ads related to that topic. Though you won't receive earnings for clicks on the topics, you'll be paid for user clicks on any of the AdWords ads on the resulting page.

Link Unit

Link units are particularly effective for more focused content, where visitors tend to be seeking specific information. Their varied formats are space-efficient, too, so I suggest incorporating link units into new and unusual locations throughout your site. Remember that three link units per page can be placed in addition to the existing three standard AdSense ad units on that page.

Can I click on the link units in my site ?

AdSense publishers are permitted to click on link unit topics on their webpages, provided that they do not click on any Google ads on the resulting page. Clicking on the ads themselves is prohibited, as it has the potential to inflate advertiser costs.

However, you may still prefer not to click on the link unit topics that appear on your site, as clicking on these links has the potential to inaccurately inflate impressions and affect your reporting metrics.

How do I add link units to my page?

AdSense publishers can add a up to three link units to any of their content pages that conform with our program policies. Adding a link unit is as easy as pasting a block of code into the source of your pages - follow the directions below to start showing this new form of text advertising on your website:

  1. Log in to your AdSense account at www.google.com/adsense
  2. Click the AdSense Setup tab and choose AdSense for content as the product.
  3. Select the link unit radio button and continue.
  4. From the Format drop-down list, select a link unit format and choose the radio button for showing 4 or 5 links per unit.
  5. Select your color palette and assign a channel and alternate ad to your ad unit, if desired.
  6. Copy and paste the ad code from the Your AdSense Code box into the source of your web pages. Please make sure that you copy the code in its entirety, and that you paste it into the body of your source.

Once you've updated your pages, link units will appear immediately. If we haven't yet crawled your page, we may initially show your alternate ad or a 'View ads about' search box in the link unit.

Making the AdSense Ads suit your website – Part 1 (shape and size)

Making the AdSense Ads suit your website – Part 1 (shape and size)

Google AdSense program can reap even richer dividends for you if you are able to attract more visitors to your website and if you are able to prompt them to take action (i.e. click on the AdSense Ads). Google disallows statements that ask the visitors to click on the AdSense Ads. In fact, Google AdSense Ads are to be marked in some way as advertisements. However, there are other authentic ways of getting the clicks on your AdSense Ads.

Besides the copy and quality content, you can also improve the performance of your AdSense Ads by either making them blend with your website or making them standout. The aim is to make the AdSense Ads more attractive/ appealing to your website visitors and to make them look in-place (not out of place). Google too recognizes this need and hence it provides you with customization options for making the Ads look the way you want them to.

You can make the AdSense Ads suit your website by controlling the shape, size, color and positioning of the Ads. Let’s have a brief look at the first two properties i.e. shape and size:

1. Shape of your AdSense Ads: This is one of the most important customizations options that you have at your disposable. You can make your selection from a number of Ad formats that Google makes available to you. These include skyscrapers, single ad blocks and banners. Just check the suitability of the shape with respect to the webpage where you wish to include the AdSense Ad.

2. Size of your AdSense Ads: Again, you can use AdSense Ads of various sizes. The size is important not only for making the Ads look suited to your website but also for determining the number of Ads that can be displayed on the webpage by the Google AdSense program. A large size generally means that more Ads can be displayed on the page (and hence presents the opportunity for earning more revenue with increased impressions).

Hot News: AdSense Make Ad Units Less Clickable !

Hot News: AdSense Make Ad Units Less Clickable !

What on earth happen with adsense now. Seems that they are continually looking for ways to put the kabosh on click fraud. It is important that they protect the rights of their advertisers by making sure each click is an intentional click. That is, they want to be certain that the person clicking the ad is doing so deliberate. Otherwise, the advertiser is paying for a visit that is not purposeful.

The news leak out from a number of blogs that Google is getting ready to make a change to the way Adsense ads are clicked. Many people are concerned that this change is going to affect their AdSense earnings.

Let's take a look of what they have change recently.

From the beginning, a click anywhere within the region of an ad would result in a successful clickthrough to the sponsor site. This image highlights where an ad could be clicked in order to count as a clickthrough.

click1.jpg

However, with the upcoming changes, Google is only allowing the clickthrough to take place if the visitor clicks the title or the url of the advertisement, not the description text nor surrounding areas.

This image highlights the change that is coming.

click2.jpg

Why is Google doing this?

In all likelihood, there is a percentage of clicks that are the result of accidental clicking. A page load and the mouse may stray to a portion of the ad and get clicked unintentionally. Google wants to prevent this from happening as it costs the advertiser money without providing the intended result, and that is a visitor who is wanting to visit the advertiser site.

What does this mean to advertisers?

It means they are likely to receive fewer visitors and more value per visitor. This is exactly what they want.

What does it mean to the AdSense publisher?

Most likely, it means your AdSense revenue will fall somewhat. How about the CTR? Honestly, I don't expect any major changes in CTR. Accidental clicks still may happen but I've got to believe that most people are clicking ads on purpose. And if they click the description text and nothing happens, most people will try again by clicking the ad title. After all, it is a hyperlink and I would think the vast majority understand that is where you are supposed to click.

Of course, we won't know for sure until the change takes place, but I don't expect to see any major changes in revenue. Besides, if this change is good for advertisers, they will have more money to spend on ads. And you know what that means.

Get this thing ready before you apply to Adsense

Get this thing ready before you apply to Adsense

Google AdSensePeople always think that they can join Adsense easily but what most happen is, Google easily rejected their application because of some reason. So, to help make sure your application is approved the first time around, ask yourself the following questions below before submitting.

Do I have what I need to apply?

  • Website: To display Google ads, you need administrative access to the site you submit for AdSense in order to place our JavaScript ad code on your site. Adding the Google code to your site's source code will enable you to show ads, search boxes, and referral units on your pages.

If you don't have a website of your own, that doesn't mean you can't participate in AdSense. There's Blogger, a free tool for setting up and publishing your own blog online. With its easy-to-use and customizable templates, you can create an account and start blogging right away. You can also set up AdSense ads easily through your Blogger account.

If you prefer more flexibility and control, then our web page tool, Page Creator, may be more suitable. Signing up for a Page Creator account is free as well -- all you need is a Gmail account. The best part is that you don't have to download any software or hire a designer. Once you've created your Page Creator site, you can begin displaying Google ads in minutes.

  • Valid payee name: Payments will be made out to the name on your account, so make sure to include your full and valid name, or that of your business, rather than just initials. This is the most important thing you should do because whenever Payee name have been filled, you can't change it anymore. And if there is error on the payee name, you can't clear your check because bank will reject it due to the error.

  • Valid address: Google want to make sure your hard-earned money reaches you, so please also provide a complete valid address where you can receive mail. If you live in a country or territory that doesn't have a standard format for addresses, please be sure that your application includes as much information as a mailman would need to find your residence.
Does my website meet all the necessary requirements?
  • Valid URL: If you manage an entire website, give the URL of your home page. If you manage a blog or other account within a larger website, you should provide the URL of the specific page that you manage and not the URL of the entire hosting website. Don't forget to double check your URL for typos!

  • Fully launched website: Since Google won't be able to review websites that are not fully launched or built, please ensure that your site is live and functioning at the time you submit your application.

  • Unique content: Google want visitors to sites in the AdSense network to have a good experience, so please publish content that's interesting and unique. Avoid using "doorway" pages created just for search engines, or other cookie cutter approaches such as affiliate programs with little or no original content. If you're participating in an affiliate program, give people a reason to visit your site first.

  • Supported language: Google only approve your application if the majority of your website is in one of our supported languages.

  • Pay-To Sites: If your site participates in programs that compensate people to perform activities that drive traffic to you, Google can't approve your application. Some examples of these "pay-to" programs are sites that encourage users "to click" or "to surf" or "to read email." In addition, you shouldn't encourage others to join these programs in the content, links, or third-party ads on your site.
Read Adsene's program policies in detail for further insight on how to create a successful application.

What is PSA and Why am I getting it ?

What is PSA and Why am I getting it ?

What is PSA ?

PSAs or Public Service Ads are non-profit organization ads that are served to pages when targeted ads are unavailable, or when Google is unable to gather content from the page. Publishers do NOT receive earnings for clicks made on PSAs.

Here is one of the examples of adsense public service ads you may get.

adsense-public-service-ads
Public Service Ads

Why am I getting PSAs ?

There can be many reasons why a website may display less targeted ads or public service ads. Below is a list of the most common issues.

  • Google's system has not yet crawled all the pages of your website.
    - The crawler needs more time. If Google has not previously crawled your site, it may take up to 48 hours or more to gather the content of that page. In the meantime, the ads you see may be public service ads or ads that are only slightly relevant. The relevance will increase over time.
Note: Cawler indexes by URL and therefore considers http://site.com and http://www.site.com different URLs. Because it will visit these URLs separately, you may notice ads appear differently on these pages.
    - The crawler can't reach your site. If the crawler isn't able to access your page, you will see an error message on the Site Diagnostics page of your account. For more details on these errors and how to resolve them, please go here: Site Diagnostics entry.

  • Your page may contain sensitive content for which relevant paying ads will not be displayed.
Google system has certain filters in place to protect the advertisers from advertising on pages that could be construed as potentially negative, non-family safe or even offensive. Although the nature of your content may not fit into any of these categories, at times the emphasis of some sensitive subject matters on a page can flag the servers to deliver public service ads to a page.

  • Your account may be disapproved or awaiting review.
To determine the status of your application, please try to log in at www.google.com/adsense using the email address and password you submitted with your application.
    • If you see a message stating: Account Not Active: An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as it is associated with an unapproved application., search your email to find the disapproval or account closure message for more information.
    • If you've applied to AdSense through another website, such as Blogger, you may be displaying ads even though your application is unreviewed or has been disapproved.
      • If you see a message stating Account Not Active: An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as your application is currently in review., please wait 2-3 days because your application is under review.
      • If you see another message or form, search your email to find the disapproval message for more information.
    • If you successfully log into your account, this reason doesn't apply to you.
  • Your site has restricted access using a robots.txt exclusion.
If your site is using a robots.txt file, the AdSense crawler may be blocked from crawling your webpages. Therefore, your site can't get the most relevant ads based on the content of your website. On pages the crawler unable to crawl or understand the content of a page, public service ads may be displayed, for which you will not receive any earnings.

For more information on the robots protocol, please visit http://www.robotstxt.org.

  • Your website is using session IDs in the URL.
If your webpages use session IDs, you may not receive targeted ads on those pages. Since this session ID - and therefore the URL - changes every time a different user views a page, the URL will not be in the index and will be queued to be crawled. Once the URL is crawled, however, the session will most likely have expired. This means that pages seen by the users are never in the index. You will need to remove the session IDs in order to display targeted ads.

  • Your website is using frames.
Google AdSense crawlers are unable to match ads to your webpage content when the AdSense ad code is placed in a frame separate from the primary content of your website. It is important to place the ad code in the same frame as the content of your webpages in order to serve ads targeted to your webpage content.

  • Your ad unit is set to display image ads only.
Image ad inventory for your content may be limited at this time; PSAs will be displayed in that unit when there are no relevant image ads available. To avoid showing PSA's, please update your preferences to show both text and image ads or implementing an alternate ad.

  • Your webpage may not contain enough content.
There may not be enough information on your site for Adsense crawlers to determine the content of your pages. Therefore, it is a bit difficulty to identify relevant ads to show on your pages. Please note that the crawlers are unable to derive meaning from:

    * audio and video files (.wma, .mpeg, .mov)
    * mp3 files (.mp3)
    * images (.jpeg, .bmp)
    * Macromedia Flash movies
    * Java Applets

In such cases, you need to include more content other than the above files on your website to assist the crawlers in gathering information about your site to display relevant ads.

  • The AdSense ad code was placed within an IFRAME.

  • Your webpages are behind a login.
At this time, pages that require a login can not be easily visited by Adsense crawlers. Additionally, since these types of pages are not easily visited for approval and it is difficult for AdSense specialists to verify that pages behind a log in follow Google AdSense policies.

  • There are too many URLs added to your account filter list.
At times, if you add too many URLs to your filter list, there might be no longer other ads available to target to your content. As a result, you may begin seeing less relevant or public service ads on your webpages.

  • Your site content is primarily in an unsupported language.
If the AdSense code is placed on pages with content primarily in an unsupported language, public service ads or ads in another language will appeared. You can refer to program policies, publishers may not display ads on pages with content primarily in an unsupported language, so please remove the ad code from these pages until we're able to support your language.

  • Your ad code has been modified
If the AdSense code has been manually modified, such as to change the ad unit width or height or the publisher ID. Please select the desired ad format on the AdSense Setup tab of your account and then paste the generated ad code, unedited, onto your pages. Keep in mind that modifications to your code are not permitted by our program policies.

5 Ways To Improve Your Adsense Earnings

5 Ways To Improve Your Adsense Earnings
If webmasters want to monetize their websites, the great way to do it is through Adsense. There are lots of webmasters struggling hard to earn some good money a day through their sites. But then some of the “geniuses” of them are enjoying hundreds of dollars a day from Adsense ads on their websites. What makes these webmasters different from the other kind is that they are different and they think out of the box.

The ones who have been there and done it have quite some useful tips to help those who would want to venture into this field. Some of these tips have boosted quite a lot of earnings in the past and is continuously doing so.

Here are some 5 proven ways on how best to improve your Adsense earnings.

1. Concentrating on one format of Adsense ad. The one format that worked well for the majority is the Large Rectangle (336X280). This same format have the tendency to result in higher CTR, or the click-through rates. Why choose this format out of the many you can use? Basically because the ads will look like normal web links, and people, being used to clicking on them, click these types of links. They may or may not know they are clicking on your Adsense but as long as there are clicks, then it will all be for your advantage.

2. Create a custom palette for your ads. Choose a color that will go well with the background of your site. If your site has a white background, try to use white as the color of your ad border and background. The idea to patterning the colors is to make the Adsense look like it is part of the web pages. Again, This will result to more clicks from people visiting your site.

3. Remove the Adsense from the bottom pages of your site and put them at the top. Do not try to hide your Adsense. Put them in the place where people can see them quickly. You will be amazed how the difference between Adsense locations can make when you see your earnings.

4. Maintain links to relevant websites. If you think some sites are better off than the others, put your ads there and try to maintaining and managing them. If there is already lots of Adsense put into that certain site, put yours on top of all of them. That way visitor will see your ads first upon browsing into that site.

5. Try to automate the insertion of your Adsense code into the webpages using SSI (or server side included). Ask your web administrator if your server supports SSI or not. How do you do it? Just save your Adsense code in a text file, save it as “adsense text”, and upload it to the root directory of the web server. Then using SSI, call the code on other pages. This tip is a time saver especially for those who are using automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.

These are some of the tips that have worked well for some who want to generate hundreds and even thousands on their websites. It is important to know though that ads are displayed because it fits the interest of the people viewing them. So focusing on a specific topic should be your primary purpose because the displays will be especially targeted on a topic that persons will be viewing already.

Note also that there are many other Adsense sharing the same topic as you. It is best to think of making a good ad that will be somewhat different and unique than the ones already done. Every clickthrough that visitors make is a point for you so make every click count by making your Adsense something that people will definitely click on.

Tips given by those who have boosted their earnings are just guidelines they want to share with others. If they have somehow worked wonders to some, maybe it can work wonders for you too. Try them out into your ads and see the result it will bring.

If others have done it, there is nothing wrong trying it out for yourself.

Add Content with RSS Feeds

Add Content with RSS Feeds

To Add Content to your blog with RSS feeds.........

First find the RSS Feed Icon. On many sites it is shown as "RSS" or "About Feeds". The icons are shown alongside.
Right click any one of these and select 'Copy Link Location'. Now you have to convert the feed into Javascript code. There are many such convertors online which you can find simply by searching Google. One such convertor is located at : http://itde.vccs.edu/rss2js/build.php. Go there and paste your feed url into the text box under 'Enter the web address of the RSS Feed'. Choose among the various options for the feed. Whether you want the title to be displayed etc... Then click 'Preview' to see if the feed is being generated. If the feed url is correct it will show items and content from the web page where you took the feed url from. If you are satisfied click 'Generate Javascript'. Javascript code is generated along with non javascript code which displays the feed on browsers without Javascript. Go back to your beta blog. Login to the Dashboard and click on Layouts under the name of your blog you want to add the feed to. The Page Elements page opens. Click on Add Page Element in the sidebar and choose HTML/Javascript in the popup window which opens. Paste the Javascript code in the content box and Save Changes. You can also add this to a Page Element in the Main Column of postings but then your feed will appear on all your posts. If you add it in the sidebar it will only appear once on the page.

WARNING :
1) Before taking content from other websites be sure to resd their Terms of Use for feeds. 2)You can fill your webpage with feeds but the Adsense bots are not able to read the content generated by them, so it is ineffective with Adsense. 3) You can use the Feed widget already present in the choices in the popup window which opens when you click on 'Add Page Element' in Page Elements page. However it will deliver only a maximum of five posts and titles whereas you can configure the feed in the above process to deliver all the posts.

You can also add a feed of your blog to your sidebar so that it shows all the posts titles. The URL of your beta blog's feed is :

http://yourblogname.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/full

Instead of 'yourblogname' type the name of your blog.

You can also add RECENT COMMENTS to the sidebar by using comment feeds URL which are

http://yourblogname.blogspot.com/feeds/comments/TYPE

Instead of 'yourblogname' type the name of your blog. Instead of TYPE use summary or full.

High paying keywords for Google Adsense With tools, tips and tricks

What is Adsense Formula ?

If you're just geatting started, there's a simple formula for you to understand how to earn money with google adsense:

Revenue = Traffic * CTR * CPC

You probably understand what traffic means.

So CTR is Click Through rate, and it means how many of your visitors are clicking ads. It actually depends on how your site is adsense-optimized.

CPC is Cost Per Click. Different words have different costs. Some can be about $0,01, some are over $10.

How to Increase Your Adsense CTR x20 in 3 Minutes

I have a couple of blogs and experimenting with google adsense. I'm in for only a couple of months, so i actually thought the main thing i need is great traffic.

Things changed when one of my posts (not from this blog) went to reddit top 5. it then appeared at fark and delicious tops also. i had something like 60000 visitors in two days, and earned... well, a dollar or so.

that's the moment i started thiniking about optimizing my pages for adsense.

I already had ads with no borders, and colors were matching my template. i searched web for some answers, and did a couple of things. after that, my CTR increased about 20 times. unfortunately, at that moment traffic was quite low, but i still have some everyday income that is about 20 times higher. here are the simple steps:

1. Instead of 468x15 Link Unit i put 300x250 Rectangle at the top of my page under it's header.
2. I made links blue. Yes, people simply expect free links to be blue.
3. I made ads urls color match text color.

As simple as that! If i did that before, i could get about 150$ in 2 days. So make the changes right now!. If you experience your CTR increase after doing this (belive me, you will!), let me know. Perhaps, next success story will be about you!

Purchasing new Adsense ready site ? Read on..

Purchasing an Adsense ready website is a good idea, especially if you don't know much about web development, but there are a few things to take care of. There are basically two types of Adsense ready websites – the duplicate content websites which get sold over and over and custom-made, original Adsense ready websites. Let's have a look at both of them:

“Recycled” Google Adsense ready website – let's call them recycled because they get used over and over and over… You can purchase 10, 50 or 150 websites, each with hundreds of pages, for less than $100! Of course, these websites get sold, in their exact same form, to hundreds or thousands of other people. However, what you lose in search engine rankings you make up in structure and content quality. And with a few dozen Google Adsense ready websites like these, you only need to handle some high quality link exchanges, or get visitors on your sites through the other program offered by Google to advertisers – Adwords.

Unique content Adsense ready websites are the other option. You will most likely pay a few hundred dollars for a unique website with 15-25 pages of original content. Instead of a hundred duplicate content websites you will have just one original website. It's hard to say which option will allow you to earn more from your online business, but it's clear that your unique content website will outrank duplicate content in the search engines. An original Adsense ready website offers a more stable income level, and you can grow it into a top ranking site in time. Your online earning will depend on numerous factors, but one thing is for sure – the search engines will love your site for bringing new content to the Internet and will reward you by ranking it higher. Here are some tips on generating fresh content for your website: 1. How to get good Adsense content?

You can either write your own content or pay someone else to write it. If your Adsense content is on a topic you like, try to write it yourself. If you have a website on rocket engineering and you are a philosophy major, maybe you'll want to get a copywriter or ghostwriter to do the writing, for a fee.

2. How long should the Adsense content be for one web page? There are no limits as far as length is concerned. Create an article or content that covers the chosen topic. Most web masters using Google Adsense prefer to have a minimum of 250 words for each new page. Others claim that Google favors web pages with over 1,000 words of unique content. The general rule, however, is that if the visitors like your Google Adsense content, so do the search engines.

3. What keyword density should I use to rank high on Google? Again, there are no strict rules. Successful publishers use the main web page keyword at least four or five times. The web page title should also include the keyword. High quality Google Adsense content doesn't look like a string of keywords – it manages to blend in the keyword nicely, so that human visitors read a relevant and well planned text.

4. How many pages should my Adsense ready website have? The more unique content you have, the better your site will rank. Unique Google Adsense content, however, is hard to obtain at “industrial levels”.

5. How much does it cost to get original content for my Adsense website? A good copywriter might charge $15 for a 400-word article. You can also use different outsourcing companies and freelancing sites to look for cheaper alternatives. Outsourcing your writing job might save you 50% of the costs. However, make sure the quality of the Adsense content you purchase is high.

Live Roulette

If you are new at playing roulette, have a look at Play Live Roulette guides that are found on live dealer casino's Website . Roulette is a combination of luck and excitement, two of the highly thrilling aspects of a casino game, and the live roulette version is nothing less. Most of all, the stakes are just as high, so winning a roulette game is definitely a challenge. One that involves trying to outsmart luck, or maybe not. But losing large amounts of money in a roulette game can also be done effortlessly. If you are not careful, a game of roulette can drive you out of your house and home. Thus, before you decide to play a game of roulette, make sure that you know the rules and the basics first. It may sound easy to you, though. The idea of roulette is to place bets, and see if the ball lands on the slot that represents the values that you bet on. However, it is easy to see that it’s more than just that.

Another tip to make sure that your fantastic roulette experience doesn’t end sour is to make sure to stick within your budget. Set an amount that you intend to spend, and only spend as much. Once you’ve used up your budget, walk away. Also, if you ever get any winnings, if you want to win some, don’t mix it in with the money you set aside for playing.

Some of online casino websites offer Live Dealer Roulette which is very fun and different than the typical online casino roulette versions of the game found online.

I have Top paying keywords but How to apply them ?

Applying top paying keywords in your website is quite similar to Search Engine Optimization. However, there are many differences as well. I have done in-depth research on the subject. On the basis of that research, I have marked the points you need to keep in mind while optimizing your website for maximum payouts through highest paying Adsense keywords. We will discuss how to apply top paying keywords as well as traffic pulling keywords to a webpage for maximum payouts and traffic.

First of all, we must understand that Google Adsense bot (formally known as Google Mediabot) is a subset of Google's main crawler. The crawler detects the theme of the pages and makes an entry in the Google's index (a private index - not shown publicly) that records the theme of all the pages hosting Adsense script. In other words, Google Mediabot has the characteristics somewhat similar to Google's main crawler.

There are two types of optimizations that you need to follow to make a web page search engine optimized. Same is the case with Adsense Optimization.

Internal Optimization : Internal Optimization includes Meta tags, Title Text, Optimization of content, and internal linking of your website. Here we will learn how to increase relevancy of ads and how to inject keywords that will help you get high paying ads. Internal Optimization has a high impact on the relevancy of ads and CTR.

External Optimization : This includes the web pages that are giving links to you (external profile of your website), anchor text being used to link your website, and many more variables that search engines use to evaluate the authoritative importance of a web page. External Optimization helps bring relevant traffic to your website and enables you to earn more by getting more CTR (Click Thru Ratio).
How long does your webpage take to show high paying ads?

This is an important question that needs to be answered. As soon as you apply Adsense script in a webpage, it is visited by the Google Mediabot (within 2 hours to 48 hours, if the bot is free - immediately). Google Mediabot's responsibility is to evaluate the theme of the web page, and enable ads almost immediately so that your website traffic does not see FREE SERVICE ADS.

The relevancy of ads increases as Google's main crawler visits your website and updates its index. Furthermore, you may observe an increase in the earnings as the PR of your website/web page increases. This means that in case of Google Adsense, the internal factors that affect the ads of a particular page are evaluated by Google Mediabot (but Google's main crawler can overwrite them). And on the other hand, the external factors are inspected by the Google Crawler over a period of time. Having said that, there are simply many many factors (including those which you cannot control) that affect your ads. We are going to discuss the factors that you can control. Lets take control!
Remember:

1. Relevancy of ads may increase as your page is indexed by Google.
2. EPC (Earnings Per lick) may increase as your PR increases.
3. It entirely depends upon you how well you promote your website and get maximum earnings from your website/web pages.
4. In case of Google, many variables are involved.
